Istanbul is host to tens of millions of humans that belong to one-of-a-kind religions. There are over 2,000 mosques in Istanbul. Among these mosques, 340 are Ottoman mosques located inside the partitions of the metropolis. Of the 35 Armenian churches, ninety-five percent belong to the Armenian Gregorian denomination and 5 percentage are Armenian Catholic churches. The variety of Greek Orthodox church buildings open for worship is ninety-five. Led by means of Neve Shalom Synagogue, the records of which dates lower back to the 1940s, the primary synagogues in Istanbul are subsequent: Istanbul Ashkenaz Synagogue, Bakırköy Synagogue, Caddebostan bet El Synagogue, Ahrida Synagogue, and the Yeniköy Synagogue.
